Beautiful pair of 18” “Old K” symphonic crash cymbals.  This is a rare opportunity to own a matched pair of extremely hard to find 18”, old Constantinople K crash cymbals. These cymbals are in excellent overall condition. These cymbals are very dark sounding with a very full, beautiful large spectrum of overtones. The plates weigh 2448g and 2550g. There is one small hairline crack close to the bell of one of the cymbals. This crack was repaired many years ago and has not spread since. The repair was accomplished by drilling two small 1/8” holes at either end of the hairline crack. This type of repair is often seen on cymbals from this era. Smaller pairs of old Constantinople K's can sometimes be found but factory matched pairs of this size are exceedingly rare. This is quite literally a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a coveted pair of crash cymbals in versatile and very useful size. They have been used for many years with The Phoenix Symphony for just the right color of sound in big dark cymbals crashes. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this wonderful, unique pair of crash cymbals.
