were sold by Ludwig in their 1920's catalogs with the model numbers No. 1400 and No. 1422. The catalog page shown above was taken from a 1925 Ludwig & Ludwig catalog. Each block has the
Deagan logo stamped into the top accompanied by the model number. The model 140 block measures 4 3/8" long x 1 5/8" wide x 7/8" high. The model 142 block measures 6" long x 2" wide x 7/8" high
These blocks are in excellent condition and both have a beautiful high, piercing sound. The interval between the two blocks is roughly a minor third. It is rare to find one of these blocks. This is a rare
