Notes: This is an extremely rare, top of the line Deluxe Deagan xylophone with Nagaed bars. It is truly an amazing instrument to see, hear, and play. The bars are a full 2 1/4" wide by 1 1/4" thick across the
entire range which gives the instrument a huge sound. The wide bars also make this xylophone very easy to play. This instrument is completely original except for the strings and springs. The bars have
recently been tuned and refinished by Century Mallet Service but maintain their original Low Pitch tuning. The frame is in perfect shape with no flaws in the plating. The resonators are in excellent shape with no
splits or dents. The bottom six tubes are tunable. At a full four octaves this xylophone is 84 inches long. The following excerpt is from the Deagan catalog:

With the development of Xylophone specialists, who specialize on Xylophones only, it has been found expedient to develop a Xylophone of larger proportions
than the "Deagan Professional" Xylophone, in other words, an instrument better than the best, and we confidently believe that in offering the "Deagan De Luxe"
Xylophone to the Xylophonists that the height of Xylophone perfection for all time has been reached.
The wood from which "Deagan De Luxe" Xylophones are made is the famous Deagan Nagaed wood, and is of extra special selection, the wood having been
seasoned for at least seven years before being made up into an instrument.
These Xylophones can be had in any of the various ranges as listed and are mounted on extra heavy floor racks, specially braced, and have ball-bearing wheels
attached to the floor rack, so that it is not necessary to pick up the instrument to move it, as it can be moved by one person, to any desired position.
The Deagan De Luxe Xylophone was developed for El Cota, one of the world's greatest Xylophonists, and as this type instrument proved such a tremendous
success, it has been considered advisable to offer same to the general public.
It is impossible to describe the beauties of these instruments, but it will suffice to say that it supersedes all other Xylophones, and has a tone that must be heard to be appreciated.
