Notes: A great instrument for someone who does not require a large range. This marimba is easy to take apart and transport making it an ideal instrument for a working percussionist
These instruments were very popular in the early 1920’s and 1930’s. Used as an addition to the dance band orchestra, which enhanced the sound of the band on dance tunes, or as a solo instrument.
All metal parts on the frame have been re-plated in beautiful bright nickel. Insulators and suspension strings have been replaced. Heavy nickel plated brass resonators with no cracks. Nice rosewood bars are
in tune. This is an excellent instrument in beautiful condition.
