Notes: This is a beautiful set of 10" American Brass deep cup sock cymbals from Frank Wolf. These "sock" cymbals were used in the 20's & 30's in a variety of configurations and types of pedals including
Hi-Hats low-boys, and snow shoe pedals. Many of these cymbals have survived but we have not seen any in this condition. Percussion instruments bearing the Frank Wolf name are of excellent quality and
this pair of cymbals is no exception. These cymbals are slightly thicker than the ones that were commonly sold by Leedy or Ludwig and have held their shape much better than the lighter cymbals. The brass
has a beautiful dark patina and terrific sound quality This is a great sounding pair of "vaudeville" cymbals that is a must have for any 20's or 30's set.
