Color: Peacock "Rainbow" Pearl
Lug Type and Number: Ten Tube lugs
Condition: Excellent
Extra Holes or Modifications: See below
Notes: This Rare sought after Peacock Pearl snare drum is in excellent condition. This is the harder to find version of Peacock Pearl that is sometimes referred to as “Rainbow Pearl” because it matches what Leedy referred to in its catalogs as “Rainbow Pearl.” The shell is solid and in round. Pearl is tight with some typical fading. The drum may have had a different strainer attached at some point in its history. Two small holes were drilled in it just on either side of the throw-off. The holes have been expertly plugged and repaired and are very difficult to spot. The badge was also removed but has been reattached with the original grommet. Slight typical rust spots on the lower parts of the throw-off and some nickel loss on the rims, tension rods and clips. All clips are in good condition. Some non-original attachment bolts for the strainer. Usually these drums go for over $3,000 but this drum is priced to sell.
