Color: Sparkling Gold
Lug Type and Number: 8 "box" lugs

Extra Holes or Modifications: none
Notes: Leedy Broadway Parallel with rare “Gold Sparkle” (referred to as “Sparkling Gold” in the 1938 Leedy catalog) wrap in excellent condition. Chrome plated hardware with beautiful engraved rims. Additional engraving on the rims include "Leedy, Elkhart Ind." on the top rim and "Broadway Parallel" engraved on the bottom rim. The solid mahogany shell has a white painted interior and is in excellent condition. All parts are original except the two snare tensioning knobs which are our high quality reproductions. The snares are also our individually adjustable reproduction snares with blue cable strands. It is rare to find sparkle finishes from this era and even harder to find them in excellent condition. There is only minor fading of the wrap which is only noticeable when the heads are off of the drum. Also some (very few) brown foxing marks as often seen but again not severe and only noticeable up close. There is some missing plating on the throw-off. Shell is in round with no issues. This will make an excellent performance drum or make a nice addition your collection.
