Leedy

1930s Woodblock & Clamp

$125
Maker:  Leedy

Condition: Mint/NOS

Notes: Leedy No. 7681 woodblock and No. 7700 "Stayon" regular woodblock holder in mint/NOS condition. The model No. 7681 woodblock was Leedy's medium size block
measuring 7 1/4" long by 2 3/4" wide and 2" tall. This is a genuine rosewood Chee Foo wood block imported by Leedy from China in the 1930's The word "China" is stamped in one
end of the block and a mint condition metal Leedy brand plate is attached to eh front. This block is in mint, near new condition. Both sides have a nice clear tone with the top being
slightly lower in pitch than the bottom. The model 7700 "Stayon" clamp is in NOS condition with pristine nickel plating. It does not appear to have ever been used and has a clear Leedy
script stamped into the top of the clamp. You will never find a cleaner, better sounding Leedy woodblock and clamp set. It's hard to believe these have survived in this condition for 80 years.
This will make the perfect addition to your Leedy 1930's outfit.
