a new “Pioneer” line of drums that range in between our lowest priced snare drums and the very best Ludwig professional makes. The Ludwig “Pioneer” snare drum is a high-grade
separate tension model drum, designed to sell at an intermediate price.”
This example is in excellent condition with no plating loss. Very little and light scratches to the shell. Has original wire wound silk snares, calf heads, which we do not believe to be original, the
bottom head is split. Earlier straight rim version with Pioneer engraved on the top rim. One non-original tension rod.
An excellent collectible but could also be a player.
