Model: Super Sensitive
Lug Type and Number: Ten tube lugs
Condition: Excellent/Near Mint
Extra Holes or Modifications: None
Notes: An outstanding example of a rare 1930’s Ludwig Chrome (not nickel) over Brass Super Sensitive snare drum with a one piece shell. This Super Sensitive features individually adjustable snares, top internal snares, snare guards and tone control (muffler). All hardware is original and in excellent/near mint condition. This drum delivers an unmatched sound quality equivalent to the earlier two-piece Ludwig brass shells. We rate the condition of this drum to be a 9.5 out of 10 with the only flaws being a few light scratches and one tiny dent next to the upper throw-off. We date this drum between 1932 and 1935. The one piece shell came out in 1932 as did the addition of the tone control. This is an awesome drum which has been well preserved, we rarely see drums of this era in this condition.
