Extra Holes or Modifications: 2 small extra holes on strainer butt side near top and bottom of shell, see below
Notes: This is an excellent player’s drum with a heavy brass shell. There are very minimal scratches to the shell and no dents. The two extra holes must have been for a different style butt plate attached at
some time in its history. There is one near the top of the shell and one near the bottom of the shell on the same panel as the butt plate. The bottom one is hidden behind the Ludwig butt end of the strainer, the
top one is almost hidden by the head. There is some minor loss of lacquer covering the gun-metal finish but there has been no wear through the black finish to the brass. The muffler and Blue Olive badge
are in place, serial #1671533.
