Notes: This is a rare 1920's Ludwig & Ludwig railroad and bell imitation. Stroking the lever back and forth across internal springs creates a steam locomotive like effect. Striking
the bell plate with a small rawhide hammer recreates the sound of an engineers bell. Together these two sounds produce a very realistic steam engine train effect. Incredible
sound and volume. Internal springs and box have been completely restored. The Ludwig & Ludwig name appear on the wooden box and bell plate.
This effect appears in the Ludwig catalogs through the 30's as item No. 529. Excellent addition to any traps collection.
