Notes: Rare and beautiful 1920's Ludwig & Ludwig black duco double tension bass drum. Includes mint condition Ludwig factory painted head with "Log Cabin" scene. Bass drum
has all original nickel plated hardware in excellent condition. Double light set installed inside drum adds nice back lighting to head. Batter head is a beautiful original calf skin head. Painted
resonant head is in mint condition. No splitting on flesh hoop or head. Ludwig decal is present at the bottom of the scene which has no paint loss anywhere on the head. This head looks like it just
came out of the factory. There are some tiny spots where the black duco finish has chipped off. The counter hoops are in very good shape but do show a few marks where clamps have been
used to hold traps and pedals. This bass drum could be matched with out black duco Super Ludwig to make a beautiful 1920's vintage set.
