Notes: This early Ludwig Universal bass drum comes with two painted heads. One of the heads is an original Ludwig painted “Winter Scene” and the other is an after market oil painted "Mountain Lake"
scene. Both heads have some minor splits but both are ideal for a nice period display. The bass drum has no modifications but does have some replacement parts. The mounting screws and washers on
the inside of the drum have been replaced with new screws and washers. Although the larger Ludwig & Ludwig washers on the outside are original washers they are not original to the drum. Tension rods
and rims are original to the drum. The drum itself is in very good condition with no issues. For someone looking for a display of painted heads or for a nice bass drum to use as a center piece of a period
set or display, this is an excellent opportunity.
