1960s

5”x14” Holiday, Cleveland era

$650

SOLD!
Model:  Holiday

Color:  Mardi Gras pearl

Lug Type and Number: 8 “Bread and Butter” lugs

Condition: Very Good

Extra Holes or Modifications: several small extra holes it throw-off panel (see below)

Notes:  This is a beautiful and rare snare drum.  The Mardi Gras Pearl finish is in excellent condition as is the shell. The drum has the original “Bread and Butter” lugs but amazingly non are cracked. The
chrome is in excellent condition with very few, hardly noticeable, minor scratches. The original tag is still intact inside the drum designating the Holiday model and made in Cleveland, Ohio, Serial # 25258.
There are 7 tiny 1/8 inch extra holes in the shell, two above, two below, two to the right and one to the left of the “Clock Face” strainer. When we got the drum all the original parts were present except the throw-
off which had been changed out for something else, thus the extra holes.  An original strainer was found and re-installed with a new back plate made to hold the snare string clamped to the strainer. The extra
holes are hardly noticeable behind the “Clock Face” strainer. This is a terrific looking and sounding drum that will make a great addition to any collection.
