Maker: Stanople Uzuiriope 1930's
Size: 11"
Condition: Excellent
Notes: Stanople Turkish style cymbals appeared in the Ludwig and Leedy catalogs in the 30's & 40's. They are described in the catalogs as second only to genuine Zenjian (i.e. Zildjian) cymbals. Stanople cymbals were made in Italy in the Turkish style. This crash is a thin 313 grams and has a "trashy" sound typical of the era. The cymbal is in excellent condition with no keyholing, cracks or dents. It makes a perfect accent cymbal for vaudeville era music and makes a nice addition to any cymbal collection.
