Notes: This is a nice first generation WFL model 900P Buddy Rich Super Classic snare drum with nickel plated hardware and gold sparkle wrap. The drum is all original, except for the heads, snares, and
one tension rod. This drum has the original, optional tone control installed. Late 40's WFL aluminum badge is present along with first generation Classic strainer. The shell is in very good condition. The plating
is in excellent condition over all with only a few small scratches on the top rim and butt plate. The gold sparkle wrap has faded somewhat and it does have a few small black spot showing through in a few
places. Designed for Buddy Rich by the W. F. Ludwig drum company, this was WFL's top of the line snare drum in the late 40's & through the 50's. The excellent vintage sound these drums produce
make them very popular with players today.
