Vintage pair of Hinger Touch-Tone white xylophone mallets with original white moleskin covering. This pair has a 1 1/8"  hard plastic head with an adhesive layer of felt moleskin covering the entire plastic head. This extra layer reduces the contact sound and darkens the sound production. The larger head size produces a fuller sound due to the extra weight. The shafts are 3/8" round reed. The round reed material is rattan with the smooth skin removed which is straight and even in thickness. Each shaft has a red ink Hinger stamp. This is a rare pair of vintage Hinger mallets in excellent, original condition. These are easy to play and produce a nice sound on any instrument.
