Vintage early 20th century Leedy brand sizzle cymbal. This is a 12" American brass cymbal with a Leedy script logo stamped into the plate and 6 disks attached to produce a sizzle effect. As shown in the attached 1930's Leedy catalog, the model No. 7452 sizzle cymbal was a standard effect for the 1930's drummer. These cymbals are relatively heavy and have a funky sound that is perfect for music from this period. This cymbal is in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, or keyholing. These are hard to find today and this genuine Leedy branded cymbal is a must for the vintage 1920's - 30's Leedy outfit.
