Venerable 1930's Deagan model 145 concert vibraphone. These great sounding instruments were made for many years by Deagan and are still one of the best sounding vibraphones around. Beautifully focused sound with a crisp attack and terrific resonance. Our model 145 has new strings and insulators but all other parts including the damper bar are original. One of the cross braces has been replaced and the rest of the chrome plated frame is in very good condition. The graduated bars are in excellent condition and sound great. The original single speed AC/DC motor works perfectly and spins the fans easily at a high rate. This is a great sounding, professional quality instrument, that is easy to transport and comfortable to play.
