This is a beautifully preserved, all original Deagan 844 "Drummer's Special" xylophone. Virtually everything on this instrument is original including solid nickel plated brass resonators. We have replaced the two rosewood resonator stops hidden inside the rails and only two of the instulators. Everything else is original and in excellent condition. The nickel plated plates have some pitting but no rust or plating loss. The nickel plated stand is excellent and has all of its original thumb screws. The rosewood bars have their original tuning and are perfect up and down the instrument. The legs are the original length for seated playing. Longer legs can be provided upon request. There are no cracked resonators or shipped bars on this xylophone. The Deagan 844's are still very popular with professional players becasue they are easy to transport and they sound terrific.
