Five years ago, we launched Olympic Drums and Percussion (ODP) with a website offering a small number of products for the sheer fun of sharing our passion for vintage drums and percussion. During these years, we’ve talked with percussionists from all over the country and all over the world. We’re amazed by the enthusiasm of drummers everywhere. As we’ve grown, our website’s functionality wasn’t able to grow with us.
So, it is with great excitement that we launch our new site, which not only features a new look and feel, but, more importantly, also adds functionality we hope improves your experience. We think you’ll particularly like the ability to search for products by category or maker and then be able to further refine your search by era, and color. This new site will allow us to add new products more quickly, bringing you more choices. Even so, we’ll always have more inventory than we show on the site, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re looking for something in particular.
In addition to the new “Shop” section, we’ve also added a “Museum” section to showcase recently sold items that are of particular interest to collectors. Last but not least, we’ve added a blog to the site to share news about the company, and stories about the instruments and collections we find. We welcome your comments to any of our posts.
