Ludwig early 1960’s (1960-1962) Chrome over Brass (C/B) Super-Sensitive model snare drum in the hard to find shell size of 6 1/2" x14". This is a great sounding player quality drum. When we acquired the instrument there were a few dents in the shell and it was slightly out of round. We have removed the dents and put the shell back into round. The drum is complete with original brass rims, brass shell, and snare guards. The throw-off functions perfectly and smoothly. The extension arms may be a later 60’s version of the Super mechanism but we can't be sure. The drum is equipped with individually adjustable snare wires and new heads. We can provide additional snares made from gut, cable, or any combination upon request. This is a terrific sounding instrument that is perfect for the concert stage or as part of a 1960's Ludwig outfit.
