Well traveled and beaufitul 1960's Gretsch "Bop" outfit in red/tangerine sparkle. This set was played for many years by a local professional but remains in very good, all original condition. With the possible exception of the spurs and parts of the cymbal L-arm, all hardware is original to the set. The red sparkle wrap looks like tangerine sparkle under the lights so it may be one of the original, darker tangerine sparkle wraps. There are some scuffs here and there but there is no damage to the wrap. The seams on the toms have been re-glued and are tight. The 6-ply shells are in exccellent, original condition with gray interiors and original bearing edges. There are no extra holes or shell damage. The 20" x 16" x 13" shell sizes of "Bop" outfit are perfect for jazz music from the 1960's. The original chrome hardware has some scratchs but there is no rust or flaking. The original Gretsch rail mount works perfectly and the floor tom legs are original straight legs with the small flair at the bottom. They even have what appear to be the original rubber feet. All drums have their original mufflers and badges. This is a great, early 1960's Gretsch round badge outfit looking for a new player.
