Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is an all-original Slingerland Model No. 1628 Attachable Hi-hat Stand Anchor made by Walberg & Auge. This is an extremely rare part that we rarely find. Designed to attach to any leg of a hi-hat or lowboy stand to prevent the stand from creeping while being played. The spur has a rubber tip that can be removed to expose a very sharp tip. This attachable spur is new old stock and still has its price tag from the 1950's as shown in the 1955 Slingerland catalog. The plating and original rubber tip are in perfect condition. This little attachment will make a great addition to your vintage hi-hat or lowboy.
