This is a great set of cable timpani much like what the Hinger Touch-Tone Campany produced in that they have the cable system for tuning.  However, these drums are estimated to be at least 100 years old. They are equipped with heater rings and can be mounted on tripods (included), as shown, or legs inserted into side brackets on the bowls (not included).  The cable sprockets have the initials DRP, probably the maker initials.  Excellent portable timpani with a great sound from the Fred Hinger collection.
