Early pair of Hinger Touch-Tone timpani sticks. This is one of the early versions of timpani sticks produced by the Hinger Touch-Tone company back in the 1960's and early 1970's. The shafts are made of aluminum and the felt heads are constructed of a stack of tightly packed felt disks securely fastened to the end of the shaft. The top and bottom layer of felt is green indicating these as the medium hardness mallets from this set. Each 15 1/2" long shaft has its original rubber handle. The shafts are in excellent condition with only a few minor marks. The felt heads are also in excellent condition given their age showing that this pair of mallets has had very little use over the years. This is a great pair of early Hinger mallets that sound great and will make a unique addition to any stick collection.
