Vintage pair of Hinger Touch-Tone medium/soft marimba mallets. This pair of mallets has large 1 1/4" plastic heads with a latex rubber covering which makes them approriate as soft to medium low end marimba mallets. The shafts are 3/8" round reed. The round reed material is rattan with the smooth skin removed and is straight and even in thickness. The shafts are 13 1/2" long, the overall length is 14 3/4". Each mallet shaft has a clear black ink Hinger Touch-Tone stamp which is one of the earlier stamps from the Hinger company. This is a nice pair of vintage Hinger mallets in excellent condition. These are easy to play and produce a nice sound on the instrument. Mulitple pairs available in this size weight and vintage.
