Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful complete set of Leedy telescoping BD spurs. As shown in the attached 1933 Leedy catalog, these spurs are designed with sharp points that do not meet the floor at an angle. The body of the spur is designed to attach to the BD counterhoop such that the spur goes straight diwn into the floor. These telescoping spurs are 4 1/4" in length and can be adjusted to so they work with any size bass drum. The nickel plating on these spurs is in excellent condition. There is one small spot on one spurt with some slight bubbling of the plating. All thumb screws are original and work perfectly. These will make a nice addition to any early 1930's Leedy or other period outfit. A must for any display or working set-up.
