Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful complete set of Leedy long telescoping, reversible BD spurs. As shown in the attached 1933 Leedy catalog, these spurs are designed with sharp points on one end that do not meet the floor at an angle. The body of the spur is designed to attach to the BD counterhoop such that the spur goes straight diwn into the floor. This pair of spurs also has a rubber tip that can be used for a hard floor. The spikes are 9" long and reversible making this a versatile piece of hardware for a period outfit. These telescoping spurs are 9" in length and can be adjusted to so they work with any size bass drum. The nickel plating on these spurs is in near perfect condition. All thumb screws are original and work perfectly. The rubber tipes are original and in excellent condition with no chipping or cracking. These will make a nice addition to any early 1930's Leedy or other period outfit. A must for any display or working set-up.
