Beautiful Leedy Realtone paddle castagnet. As shown in the attached 1933 Leedy catalog "T", the model No. 7771 consists of a pair of unbreakable black molded castagnets mounted on a hard-rock maple sounding board. each of the castagnets has the script Leedy logo molded into its base. This paddle is in excellent condition. It sounds great and is an excellent example of an early 20th century drummer's trap.
