Beautiful Leedy Vise Grip cymbal holder in hard to find nobby gold finish. This early bass drum cymbal mount is designed to hold a cymbal in position so it can be stuck by a bass drum pedal attachment. As shown in the attached 1928 Leedy catalog, the model 277 'Vise Grip" holder is one of the best designs ever produced for this type of cymbal holder. The vise grip clamp hold the cymbal firmly in place and will not damage the bass drum hoop. The cymbal attachment can nbe position in an infinite number of positions along the rod making this the perfect holder for use with any size bass drum or foot pedal. The nobby "art" gold finish on this holder is in excellent cndition. There are a few small spots of plating loss on te clamp but the rod and cymbal mount are in mint condition. These no. 277 cymbal holders are hard to find and almost never turn up in the nobby gold fiinish. This is a one of a kind adition to any vintage outfit.
