Reproduction Ludwig extension arm for first generation (tube lug) Super Ludwig and Ludwig Super Sensitive model snare drums. This is a failthful reproduction part that is virtually identical to the original. Ludwig produced these extension arms in short and long versions. This arm is the shorter of the two with an overal length of 2 1/2" inches. It fits the lower Super snare mechanism. The shape of the arm provides a comfortable grip making the lever easy to grasp for a quick release. The opposite end has a slot cut into the arm to allow the it to be connected to the mechanism with a thumb screw.. Available in any finish to match your drum. Many Ludwig "Supers" found today are missing these important parts. Pick up one or more of these arms to complete your Ludwig drum. We also have reproduction thumb screws for these extension arms that match the original parts.
