M58 Musser/Piper Vibraphone
A design collaboration between Musser engineers and notable vibist John Piper, the Musser/Piper vibraphone has a 3 octave range and silver finish graduated bars. Unique Piper Cushion(TM) damper pad equalizes pressure on bars for even dampening and dual action adjustable compression spring balances damper pressure for even, smooth action. Variable height resonators adjust volume and allow for fine tuning in varying climate conditions. Adjustable damper pedal slides easily from left to right and front to back for players' individual comfort zone. Telescoping parts on the aluminum anodized frame facilitates quick and easy adjustments.
This vibraphone is in very good to excellent overall condition. All adjustable frame parts work perfectly. The pedal action is good and the sound production is very good. There is no motor but it can be added later if desired. Great Musser sound with all the bells and whistles.
