Vintage F.A. Allen duck call. This vintage "Allen's Duck Quack" was sold by both Leedy and Ludwig in catalogs dating from the 1920's and 30's. The catalog pages shown were taken from the 1920 Ludwig and 1930 Leedy catalogs. Our Duck Quack is in excellent condition and has an authentic sound. The mouthpiece is nickel plated and stamped "F.A. Allen Monmouth ILL". The total length is 5 3/8" making this the smaller version of the F.A. Allen duck call . The body is made of solid maple and is in mint condition. This is one of the most iconic of the early 20th century drummer's sound effects and no traps collection if complete without an example of this imitation. Don't miss out.
