The arm makes the clamshell strainer much easier to operate and gives the throw-off a more finished look. It is made with a slot at the bottom to allow the arm to fit inside the tube of every strainer. The arm will slide up and down the tube to a convenient position for every size drum. This is the part you have been looking for your Super Gene Krupa snare drum. Made of brass, it comes in three finishes: polished brass, nickel-plated, or chrome-plated.
