Considered by many to be one of the most rare and hardest to find snare drums, this 6 ½” x 14” wood Rogers Dynasonic is much sought after. This drum is in exceptional condition. The “Bread and Butter” style lugs are known to crack and it is rare to find crack free lugs of this type; only one lug on this drum has a hairline crack that is difficult to spot. This drum also has original Rogers heads both top and bottom. All parts are original, and there is almost no fade to the White Marine Pearl wrap. This is also one of the earliest Dynasonics made, having the serial number 1179. The only blemishes are three initials and 5 numbers (someone’s identifying numbers) lightly scratched into the top rim. The owner of this drum will truly have a rare centerpiece for their collection.
