Super rare Slingerland Duncan Sock Cymbal pedal. As shown in the attached 1936 Slingerland catalog, complete with 10" deep cup and 11" spun brass cymbals, this Roy Duncan pedal is in excellent condition. The model number 1468 sock pedal comes with a cast aluminum folding bass and nickel plated upper section. This attractive pedal is all original and works perfectly. The original cymbals are the perfect combination for this pedal. Their period clangy sound is perfect for the music of the early 20th century. The pedal action is nice and smooth and the pedal arms have the original spikes in the feet so this pedal will not creep. There is some slightl silver paint loss on the cast aluminum base but the nickel plated upper portion is in perfect condition. The Slingerland stamp on the heel identifies this as an original Roy Duncan pedal. This is the perfect early sock pedal for any period outfit.
