This is a great top of the range, 22 1/2" chain driven, hand tuned timpani. The maker is unknown but this is a quality professional grade instrument. We have a set of four matching drum of which this is the smallest, highest pitch instrument. These drums have been used professionally for many years and have the attributes and tone to serve any kind of ensemble from small chamber ensembles to a large full symphony orchestra. The bowl size is 22 1/2" x 20" deep which nicely covers the high range of the timpani repertoire. These drums have ample extended collars which add to the beautiful warm resonant sound. They are complete with folding quad-pod stands that make for a portable and practical set of timpani for the working musician. Purchase all four chain drums listed and receive a discount on the set.
