This is a great pair of chain driven, hand tuned timpani. The maker is unknown but these are quality professional grade instruments. These drums have been used professionally for many years and have the attributes and tone to serve any kind of ensemble from small chamber ensembles to a large full symphony orchestra. The bowl sizes are 24" x 17 1/2" deep and 27" x 20" deep which nicely covers the middle range of the timpani repertoire. These drums have ample extended collars which add to the beautiful warm resonant sound.
