This Leedy No. 7681 woodblock and No. 7700 "Stayon" regular woodblock holder is in excellent condition. The model No. 7681 woodblock was Leedy's medium size block measuring 7 1/4" long by 2 3/4" wide and 2" tall. Leedy imported this genuine rosewood Chee Foo wood block from China in the 1930's. The words "Made in China" are stamped in one end of the block and the Leedy brand decal appears on the front. This block is in mint, near new condition. Both sides have a nice clear tone with the top and bottom pitches being almost identical. The model 7700 "Stayon" clamp is in excellent condition with beautiful nickel plating. It has a light, but clear, Leedy script logo stamped into the top of the clamp. You will never find a cleaner, better sounding Leedy woodblock and clamp set. It's hard to believe these have survived in this condition for 80 years. This will make the perfect addition to your Leedy 1930's outfit.
