Beautiful Leedy "Stayon" bass drum tone control in stunning nobby/art gold finish. All original and in excellent condition, as shown in the attached 1932 catalog, these BD tone controls were found on every bass drum from the era. This version is completely plated in beautiful nobby gold finish. Even the spring steel is gold plated. All of the plating is in excellent condition with a few small areas of corrosion on the spring steel amd some plating loss on the muffler back plate that are hardly noticeable. There is a clear Leedy script logo on the clamp. This is a truly rare nobby/art gold piece that will put a nice finishing touch to any period art gold outfit.
