Product Code: DDS16Here is a dream set for the Ludwig collector/player. This is a 1967 completely original Ludwig Super Classic outfit in sparkling pink champagne. This is a one-owner set and aside from one light scratch in the wrap on the ride tom and a few tiny nicks in the black paint on the BD counter hoops, there is not a mark or spot on these drums. The pink champagne wrap has little to no fading and all seams are tight. There aren't any of the typical marks you normally see on 50-year-old drums. There are a few small black number decals by the badge on the bass drum that can easily be removed if desired. All parts and hardware are original right down to the internal mounting screws. Original Ludwig script logo Weather Master frint head on the bass drum. The inside of the drums is bright white with April 24, 1967 date stamps in the ride tom and bass drum. The ride tom also has a second April 21, 1967 date stamp. Original script logo rail mount, white felt baseball bat mufflers and chrome over steel triple flanged counter hoops. A complete set of original Ludwig 1960's stands and 1960's throne are included. The bass drum does not have a mounted ride cymbal arm so two model 1400 flat base cymbal stands are included. The hardware is also in excellent working condition. There is a small amount of wear on the cymbal poles and folding throne, but all stands retain their original rubber feet and work flawlessly. The bass drum hoops are in excellent condition and have not been touched up or re-painted. The inlays are the original matching pink champagne sparkle. This is a complete, show quality outfit in near perfect condition. No searching for vintage parts and pieces to complete your vintage kit. It's all right here. If desired, add the matching Ludwig Supraphonic in mint condition that will make the perfect snare drum for this outfit. Also available is the period correct Ludwig cowbell post and golden tone cowbells as a nice finishing touch to this outfit.
