Faithful reproduction of a snare guard designed to fit a Ludwig "Super Ludwig" or "Super Sensitive" snare drum with tube lugs. These are the well known "Wanser" snare guards that are virtually identical to the original parts. The gauge of metal is slightly heavier than the original parts giving extra protection to the sensitive mechanism. These guards come complete with mounting clips and are available in nickel, chrome, brass, and art gold finishes. These parts are missing from many of the 1920's - 30's Ludwig "Supers" found today. Add a pair of these to every drum in your collection for an authentic period presentation. The listed price is for a single snare guard. A discount is avaiable when two or more snare guards are purchased.
