Original Frisco Song Whistle. The Frisco Song slide whistle, as shown in the attached pre-1920s Dixie catalog, was a standard instrument sold by every drum company and music store in the early 20th century including Leedy & Ludwig. This Frisco whistle is in excellent condition and still plays beautifully. The nickel plating on the whistle is in excellent condition. There is a small amount plating loss on the handle. The Frisco whistle is 12 1/2" in length and has a barrel diamter of 3/4". This is a classic early 20th century trap in excellent playing condition. This is a must have instrument for any vintage percussion instrument collection.
