Vintage pair of Hinger Touch-Tone white xylophone/glockenspiel mallets. This pair has a 1 1/8" hard plastic head suitable for xylophone and glockenspiell paying. This larger size head produces a fuller sound due to the extra weight. There were several versions of Hinger xylophone sticks with white plastic heads. This is the version with the acetate balls which are slightly heavier than other versions and have less of an attack sound when the bar is struck. The shafts are 3/8" round reed. The round reed material is rattan with the smooth skin removed which is straight and even in thickness. Each shaft has a red ink Hinger stamp. This is a nice pair of vintage Hinger mallets in excellent condition. These are easy to play and produce a nice sound on any instrument.
