This is an unusual pair of vintage Hinger keyboard mallets. The shafts of these mallets are the standard 3/8" skinned rattan with black ink stamps. The heads are an extra large 1 1/2" diameter hard rubber and the shafts have original Hinger rubber handle covers. These extra heavy mallet heads are perfect for wide bar xylophones like a Deagan 1716 or Leedy 651. They could also be covered with a latex sleeve for use as on a bass marimba. This is a rare size mallet from Hinger that will make a unique addition to a collection of mallets.
