This is a rare pair of Ludwig brand marimba mallets from the early part of the 20th century. As shown in the attached 1932 Ludwig catalog, this pair of soft rubber headed mallets is ideal for marimba playing. The pinkish rubber heads are 1" in diameter and in excellent condition. The original rattan shafts are mostly straight with a visible Ludwig brand and model stamped at the end of each shaft. The rattan is in great condition wiith no splits or marks.
