This is a great sounding, factory matched, pair of Constantinople K. Zildjian crash cymbals. Zildjian crash cymbals from the early 20th century with a Constantinople stamp have a legendary sound that is highly sought after by orchestral players. This pair of cymbals are a fine example of that sound. At 15 5/8" in diameter, weighing 1610/1665 grams, these cymbals are larger than most cymbals of this era. They have a nice dark sound and are large enough to cover a wide range of repertoire. The plates are moderately bowed with small bells making them easy to play. There is small crack near the center hole of one of the plates and a small nick in the edge of the other. Neither blemish affects the sound. It's a well matched pair of plates that produce a sound which no modern pair of cymbals can match. This pair will make a great addition to any player's crash cymbal collection.
