Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a beautiful, heavy, Istanbul K from the late 1940's. It has all of the characteristic hammer marks of an early K. It is a good candidate for mating with another 18" plate to make a nice pair of orchestral cymbals. It also makes a nice heavy crash ride. It has a nice dark sound similar to other old K's. The plate has a bueatiful patina and no issues of any kind. This will make a nice addition to a collection of vintage cymbals.
